Loyal Listeners,We have recently improved the quality of our sound by doubling our kilabit rate from 32/kb to 64/kb. The result is greater fidelity to you the listener and less drop outs and rebuffing.
We encourage you to visit our store and purchase music from the many fine artists that we carry for you on The Breez!
Another "Mystery Tune" will begin this month. Hit the "Mystery Tune" button and listen to the song. If you think you know it, be the first to e-mail meyerbroadcasting@ameritech.net with the correct song and artist and you'll be the winner!
As always, we greatly appreciate your feedback.
A musical salute to the late great pianist, Roger Williams will be aired in the near future - stay tuned!
Thanks again, for listening, and please tell a friend.
Thank you,
John Meyer

The Changing Broadcast Scene
The last year has brought a dramatic change in listener habits. I believe commercial radio, both AM and FM, is in serious trouble. It all began with the communications act of 1996, when the FCC allowed multiple station ownerships. People under the age of 35 don’t know that AM radio exists, and many kids that formerly listened to rock/rap FM radio, now listen to thousands of songs on their iPads/iPhones/iPods/Clouds/MP3 players/cell-phones. I believe the internet and satellite radio stations have bright futures because they off a wide variety of formats no longer available on commercial radio. Technology has advanced to the point where you can listen to your favorite internet stations in your car and the internet is totally portable.
In closing, thank you for making TheBreez.com one of your favorite internet stations.
Thank you,
John Meyer

Dear Loyal Listeners,
We have had success in selling Green Hill music products in our Showcase internet store. We would like to fill the store with products that you would like to purchase. In addition to CD’s, would you purchase books, art, antiques, etc. if we offer them for sale?
Thank you,
John Meyer

Dear Loyal Listeners,
I would like to thank all our listeners during our 10 days off the air due to several technical issues.
First, hornets decided to make a home in the AT&T box located a block away from our studio, which shut down our internet connection; it took awhile to find the problem and fix it. At the same time, the fan and power supply of our master computer broke down. I guess it’s good that it all happened at the same time, and everything this up and working again.
Thank you,
John Meyer

In a world, today, that is bombarded with what I consider noise, not music, we try to acknowledge talented musicians. There are many talented young musicians, both singers and instrumentalists, out there who have a difficult time getting recognized in today's society. Our goal is to make the world aware of this fine young talent and help promote and sell their products. Many of these artists have their products available to audition and buy on our Showcase Site.
We would appreciate your purchases of their CD's, for your musical enjoyment and for the artist's success. Each week we will do a profile of one of these new artists here on our homepage.
Thank you,
John Meyer
President of The Breez
